Creamline hopes to end a losing slump in a rematch with another skidding team in Philippine Air Force.
Creamline and Philippine Air Force battle to end their respective losing skids on Saturday in the inaugural Premier Volleyball League Reinforced Conference Saturday at the FilOil Flying V Centre in San Juan.
Game time is at 6:00 p.m. and will air live on ABS-CBN S+A Channel 23, ABS-CBN S+A HD Channel 166 and via livestream.
The Alyssa Valdez-led Cool Smashers on a two-game slump for a 1-3 win-loss record while the Jet Spikers dropped their last three games to remain at the cellar with a 1-4 card.
Despite the 25-point effort of Valdez, who is averaging a league-high 24.5 points per game, crowd-favorite Creamline bowed down to Pocari Sweat, 25-15, 18-25, 24-26, 19-25, last Thursday.
Still, the Cool Smashers hold the advantage against Air Force after dominating the Jet Spikers, 25-23, 25-16, 25-22, in the first meeting last week.
Francesca Racraquin, Pau Soriano and Coleen Bravo are expected to step up this time to help Valdez on offense.
Air Force is fresh from a 23-25, 20-25, 22-25, drubbing at the hands of the Power Smashers last Thursday.
May Ann Pantino, Joy Cases and Iari Yongco will lead the charge of the Jet Spikers to arrest their skid and get back on the winning track.
Meanwhile, Instituto Estetico Manila (1-2) and Philippine Air Force (0-1) clash in the men’s division slated at 10:00 a.m.
