Cool Smashers shoot for second straight win
Creamline looks to start a winning run.

Coming off a morale-boosting win, crowd-favorite Creamline tries to nail its first back-to-back victories when the Cool Smashers go to battle against the Power Smashers Sunday in the inaugural Premier Volleyball League Reinforced Conference at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig City.

Game time is a 6:00 p.m. The match will air live on ABS-CBN S+A Channel 23, ABS-CBN S+A HD Channel 166 and via livestream.

The Cool Smashers and the Power Smashers are tied at fourth to fifth spots with identical 3-4 win-loss slates.

But Creamline will bring into battle the momentum of its 21-25, 25-18, 25-20, 25-13, victory over Pocari Sweat Saturday.

Local superstar Alyssa Valdez had plenty of help as the Cool Smashers snapped the Lady Warriors’ six-game winning streak. American import Laura Schaudt and Kuttika Kaewpin of Thailand provided the extra firepower Creamline needed to get back on the winning track.

The Power Smashers are in a two-game slide with their last coming at the hands of Perlas, 25-27, 24-26, 19-25, Saturday.

Locals Jovielyn Prado, Dimdim Pacres and Katherine Villegas need to step up big to provide help for Thai imports Hyapa Amporn and Kannika Tipachot.

The Power Smashers defeated the Cool Smashers in five sets in their first meeting
