Cool Smashers end club volleyball debut with bronze medal
Creamline closes club league debut with a third place finish.

Creamline captured the inaugural Premier Volleyball League Reinforced Conference third place honor after completing a best-of-three series sweep of the Power Smashers, 25-20, 11-25, 25-20, 25-19, Tuesday at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig City.

Local superstar and Conference Most Valuable Player Alyssa Valdez with the help of Thai import Kuttika Kaewpin and American guest player Laura Schaudt led the Cool Smashers to a podium finish in the franchise’s club volleyball debut.

Kaewpin finished with 20 points all coming from kills while Valdez registered 16 markers she collected from 10 attacks, five aces and a kill block for Creamline. 

The Cool Smashers swept the Power Smashers in the series opener last Saturday.

Thai import Kannika Tipachot finished with 21 markers, compatriot Hyapa Amporn had 16 while Jovielyn Prado finished with 12 for the Power Smashers.
