HD Spikers gun for a share of the lead
Cignal looks to climb up to a share of the lead and preserve its clean slate.

Cignal puts its unblemished record on the line when the HD Spikers take on listless Gamboa Coffee in the men’s division of the inaugural Premier Volleyball League Open Conference Sunday at the FilOil Flying V Centre in San Juan.

The Oliver Almadro-mentored squad is unbeaten in three games at second spot behind Mega Builders, which parade a 4-0 win-loss slate.

Game time is at 1:00 p.m. and will air via livestream.

Cignal is coming off a 25-20, 25-19, 25-17, demolition of Philippine Army last Wednesday.

The Spikers, on the other hand, are winless in three games. Gamboa Coffee absorbed a 25-22, 25-17, 25-13, defeat at the hands of Instituto Estetico Manila.

Meanwhile, the Troopers square off against the Sta. Elena Wrecking Balls at 10:00 a.m.

Army and Sta. Elena, which is looking to end a two-game slide, are tied at 1-2 slates at fifth to sixth spots.
