Pocari Sweat hopes to return in the win column and secure at least a playoff for a semis berth.
Coming off a long break, Pocari Sweat looks to bounce back from its setback when it takes on a young Adamson University side in the inaugural Premier Volleyball League on Sunday at the FilOil Flying V Centre in San Juan.
The Lady Warriors eye to secure at least a playoff for a semifinals berth in their showdown with the Lady Falcons at 6:00 p.m. The match will air live over ABS-CBN S+A Channel 23, ABS-CBN S+A HD Channel 166 and via livestream.
Pocari Sweat is tied with Air Force with 3-1 win-loss record.
The Lady Warriors saw their three-game winning streak snapped by Creamline, 15-25, 25-17, 19-25, 19-25, last week.
Myla Pablo, who scored 26 points in a lost cause the last time out, is again expected to lead the Pocari Sweat’s charge with Elaine Kasilag, Jeannette Panaga, Cai Nepomucen, Gyzelle Sy and veteran libero Mel Gohing as support crew.
Adamson after stunning the Power Smashers suffered a 25-23, 20-25, 13-25, 22-25, loss to UAAP rival University of the Philippines a week ago.
The Lady Falcons are at the cellar with a 1-3 card.
Adamson coach Air Padda will lean on Jema Galanza, Eli Soyud and Chiara Permentilla to lead the Lady Falcons.
