Valdez to sit out Cool Smashers' remaining games

Alyssa Valdez will skip all of the remaining games of Creamline because of health reasons.
Creamline has decided to sit out its ace spiker Alyssa Valdez for the remainder of the Premier Volleyball League Open Conference.
Rebisco, the Cool Smashers’ mother company, issued a statement early Saturday before Game One of Creamline’s best-of-three semifinals series against BaliPure at the FilOil Flying V Centre in San Juan.
The management cited health concerns as the main reason of its decision to pullout Valdez, who skipped the last three games of Creamline in the elimination round to join the national team in a 17-day training camp in Japan as preparation for the 29th Southeast Asian Games in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on August 19 to 31.
Rebisco on Friday issued a statement that Valdez will be able to suit up in the semis.
