Jema Galanza led Adamson University's sweep of Technological Institute of the Philippines for its third straight win in as many outings.
Adamson University kept its perfect record intact as the Lady Falcons easily picked their third win in as many outings with a 25-12, 25-14, 25-13 demolition of Technological Institute of the Philippines in Group B of the inaugural Premier Volleyball League Collegiate Conference.
The Lady Falcons solidified their hold of top spot and moved a step closer to clinching a semifinals berth.
Jema Galanza pounded 11 attacks, nailed six aces and a kill block for 18 points in an all-around performance that saw her also contribute 11 digs and five excellent receptions on defense for the San Marcelino-based squad. Joy Dacoron added 12 points while Fenela Emnas chipped in 23 excellent sets in Adamson's 44 attack points.
It was a quick stint for Adamson inside the FilOil Flying V Centre as the smaller Lady Engineers were no match against the rampaging Lady Falcons, who still have College of St. Benilde and San Beda College remaining in their elimination round assignments.
TIP dropped to 0-3 mark and was pushed on the brink of elimination.
Alyssa Layug scored eight points while Ashley Jinon had seven for the Lady Engineers, who only had 19 points off attacks.
