Lady Tams, Lady Bulldogs duel for solo lead
Far Eastern University puts its unblemished record on the line against another unbeaten team National University.

National University and Far Eastern University stake their unbeaten records and hold of the top spot in Group A of the inaugural Premier Volleyball League Collegiate Conference at the FilOil Flying V Centre in San Juan on Saturday.

The Lady Bulldogs and Lady Tamaraws share the lead with identical 2-0 win-loss slates.

Game time is at 6:30 p.m. and will air via livestream.

With the trio of 6-foot-5 Jaja Santiago, Aiko Urdas and Risa Sato leading the offense and with setter Jasmine Nabor doing a superb job in her playmaking, NU, which claimed the defunct V-League’s last two Collegiate Conference titles, remains one of the teams to beat.

The Lady Bulldogs defeated San Sebastian College, 25-21, 21-25, 25-11, 25-18, last Monday.

FEU is coming off a 17-25, 25-21, 25-19, 25-14, win over Ateneo de Manila University last week. Lady Tams head coach George Pascua will bank on Bernadeth Pons, Toni Basas, Jeanette Villareal and Jerrili Malabanan.
