Melissa Gohing posted na emotional farewell message to Pocari Sweat after the veteran libero decided to move on with a new team in the Premier Volleyball League.
The 26-year old volleybelle played for the Federated Distributors, Inc. franchise for three years before calling it quits to join Creamline for the 2018 PVL season.

Gohing joined Philips Gold in 2015 when the FDI club was still playing in the Philippine Superliga. Behind her, former De La Salle teammate Michele Gumabao and top hitter Myla Pablo, the Lady Slammers landed a bronze medal finish in the All-Filipino Conference and the import-laden Grand Prix with Americans Bojana Todorovic and Alexis Olgard.
After just a year in the PSL, the squad transferred to the V-League under the Pocari Sweat banner.
The Lady Warriors found success in the league as they went on to win the Open and Reinforced Conferences. Gohing won the Best Libero award in the V-League’s Open Conference.
Gohing again captured another Best Libero award when she helped Pocari Sweat bag the inaugural Premier Volleyball League Reinforced Conference crown.
She won her third Best Libero recognition in the Open Conference but the Lady Warriors only finished as a runner-up to BaliPure.
