PVL Team Preview: Banko-Perlas
Can Banko-Perlas reach a podium finish this time?

Banko-Perlas will parade an intact core and sees it as an advantage when the Spikers shoot for a podium finish in the 2nd Premier Volleyball League Reinforced Conference.

The Dong Dela Cruz-mentored squad retained the same players it had last year led by former Ateneo de Manila University stars Dzi Gervacio and Amy Ahomiro.

Banko-Perlas finished fifth in both the Reinforced Conference and Open Conference last year.

Former Lady Eagles Mae Tajima, Kara Acevedo, Ella De Jesus, Jem Ferrer and Gizelle Tan are back to don the Spikers uniform.

Joining them are ex-Adamson University standout Amanda Villanueva, Sue Roces, Sasa Devanadera, Chang Ancheta, Rapril Aguilar and Nicole Tiamzon of University of the Philippines.

Banko-Perlas has yet to submit the names of their imports.

PVL teams are given at least a month before the start of the season to finalize their respective rosters and clear their imports’ international transfer certificates (ITCs).
