Opening day loser Philippine Army faces off with Instituto Estetico Manila.
Philippine Army looks to rebound from an opening day loss as three other teams begin their quests in the Premier Volleyball League Season 2 Reinforced Conference men's division on Wednesday at the FilOil Flying V Centre in San Juan.
The Troopers face Instituto Estetico Manila at 12:00 noon after the 10:00 a.m. duel of Philippine Air Force and PLDT.
The 12 noon game will be available via livestream.
Army crashed early in the season-opening conference, dropping a 13-25, 16-25, 29-27, 21-25 decision at the hands of newcomer Vice Co. on Sunday.
Benjaylo Labide and Patrick Rojas were the only Troopers in double figures with 20 and 15 points in their opener.
Meanwhile, national team members John Vic De Guzman and Mark Alfafara banner PLDT’s drive to reclaim its place in Philippine men’s club volleyball throne after winning it all in the defunct Spiker’s Turf Open Conference three years ago.
But PLDT will face a tough opening day battle in their return in the club scene against a veteran-laden Jet Spikers, who finished runner-up last year.
