PVL: Blockbusters bust Phoenix Volley Masters

Vice Co. returned in the win column after downing erstwhile unbeaten Instituto Estetico Manila.
Vice Co. took advantage of Instituto Estetico Manila’s error-filled outing and played solid net defense to get back in the win column and put a dent on the Phoenix Volley Masters' erstwhile clean record, 28-30, 25-21, 25-23, 25-16, Wednesday in the Premier Volleyball League Season 2 Reinforced Conference men's division.
The Blockbusters left the FilOil Flying V Centre in San Juan with its second win in three games to join their victims on top of the standings.
Richard Solis paced Vice Co., which is yet to see its playing team owner Kapamilya star Vice Ganda in action, with 17 points off 13 attacks, three kill blocks and a service ace. JP Bugaoan added 13 while Jude Garcia and Redijohn Paler for the Blockbusters, who got 37 free points off IEM’s errors.
Vice Co. had a superb outing at the net as they frustrate the Phoenix Volley Masters hitters with 11 kill blocks.
The Blockbusters were able to control IEM skipper Greg Dolor, who had to bleed for his 13 points.
Joeward Presnede had 16 while Mark Enciso finished with 15 for the Phoenix Volley Masters.
