PVL: Perlas Spikers seek back-to-back wins
BanKo sets its eyes on winning its second straight match to close the preliminary round on a high note.

After arresting a four-game slide, BanKo looks to end its preliminary round campaign on a high note against skidding Iriga-Navy in the Premier Volleyball League Season 2 Reinforced Conference Sunday at the FilOil Flying V Centre in San Juan.

Opening serve is at 2:00 p.m. and will air live on ABS-CBN S+A Channel 23, ABS-CBN S+A HD Channel 166 and via livestream.

The Perlas Spikers stopped their bleeding with a morale-boosting come-from-behind 18-25, 18-25, 25-19, 25-22, 15-11, win over semis-bound PayMaya last week to improve to 2-4 win-loss record.

A win to close the prelims will give BanKo the much-needed momentum heading into the round robin quarterfinals, where the last two best-of-three semis slots are at stake.

League-leading Creamline (5-1) and PayMaya (4-2) secured the two outright Final Four berths.

The Lady Oragons are at the cellar with a 1-4 card and are on a four-game losing skid.

Iriga-Navy suffered a 20-25, 22-25, 25-27, loss to Tacloban last Wednesday.
