Military rivals Philippine Army and Philippine Air Force cross paths once again in an all-important opening battle in their Premier Volleyball League Season 2 Reinforced Conference men’s quarterfinals campaign Wednesday at the FilOil Flying V Centre in San Juan.

Game time is at 1:00 p.m. and will air via livestream.

The Jet Spikers finished the preliminary round with a 2-3 win-loss record tied with PLDT Home Fibr and Instituto Estetico Manila. Air Force is coming off a five-set loss to semifinals-bound Vice Co. a week ago.

The Troopers dropped its last two games in the prelims to end up with a 1-4 card.

Army is looking to duplicate its 25-23, 21-25, 25-23, 25-27, 15-12 victory over Air Force in their prelims meeting.

Defending champion Cignal and Vice Co. claimed the first two outright Final Four slots. The last two semis seats are at stake in the round robin quarters.
