PVL: Lady Warriors eye a step closer to semis

Defending champion Pocari Sweat-Air Force sets its eyes on inching a step closer to a Final Four spot when the Lady Warriors meet the struggling Iriga-Navy on Wednesday in the Premier Volleyball League Season 2 Reinforced Conference at the FilOil Flying V Centre in San Juan.
Opening serve is at 6:30 p.m. and will air via livestream.
The Lady Warriors snapped a two-game skid after a morale-boosting come-from-behind, 18-25, 25-20, 26-24, 25-21, win over Petro Gazz to open the round robin quarterfinals where the last two Final Four slots are at stake.
Crowd favorite Creamline and PayMaya secured the first two best-of-three semis slots.
Pocari Sweat-Air Force defeated the Lady Oragons, 25-8, 23-25, 25-18, 25-16, in the prelims.
Iriga-Navy is down with a seven-game losing skid with its last coming at the hands of BaliPure-NU in a five-set duel last Saturday.
