PVL: Lady Warriors look to boost semis bid
Pocari Sweat-Air Force aims to get back on the winning track and draw closer to a semis seat.

After dropping its last match, defending champion Pocari Sweat-Air Force marches into battle looking for a bounce back win against BaliPure-National University Wednesday in the Premier Volleyball League Season 2 Reinforced Conference at the FilOil Flying V Centre in San Juan.

Opening serve is at 4:00 p.m. and will air via livestream.

The Lady Warriors saw its two-game winning streak snapped by BanKo last Saturday in straight sets, 19-25, 14-25, 22-25.

Pocari Sweat is tied with Petro Gazz with 2-1 win-loss record behind still perfect Perlas Spikers. Creamline and PayMaya occupy the first two best-of-three semifinals seats.

The Water Defenders hold a 1-1 slate and are also coming off a straight sets drubbing, 23-25, 18-25, 14-25, at the hands of the Angels.

Pocari Sweat defeated BaliPure in four sets in their preliminary round meeting.
