PVL: Perlas Spikers go for third straight win
BanKo eyes to inch closer to clinching a semis seat.

Unbeaten BanKo wants to keep its momentum going and inch closer to a semifinals seat when it battles Iriga-Navy in the Premier Volleyball League Season 2 Reinforced Conference quarterfinals at the FilOil Flying V Centre in San Juan.

Action begins at 6:30 p.m. and will air via livestream.

The Perlas Spikers stormed past Tacloban and defending champion Pocari Sweat-Air Force – all in straight sets - to occupy the solo top spot of the round robin quarters where the last two seats in the best-of-three semifinals are at stake.

Creamline and PayMaya occupy the first two spots in the Final Four.

The Lady Oragons, which bowed down to BanKo in the prelims, are already hanging by a thread in their semis seat campaign.

Iriga-Navy sports a 1-2 card.

The Lady Oragons are coming off a five-set win over Tacloban last Saturday. But another loss coupled by the Lady Warriors’ win over BaliPure-National University in the first game will officially boot out Iriga-Navy as well as Tacloban in the semis race.
