PVL: Lady Warriors earn at least a semis playoff

Defending champion Pocari Sweat-Air Force rolled past Tacloban to claim at least a playoff for a semis berth.
Defending champion Pocari Sweat-Air Force got a foot into the Final Four with a quick work of also-ran Tacloban, 25-22, 25-17, 25-20, Saturday in the Premier Volleyball League Season 2 Reinforced Conference quarterfinals at the FilOil Flying V Centre in San Juan.
The Lady Warriors closed the round robin quarterfinals with a 4-1 win-loss record and earned at least a playoff for a semifinals seat.
American import Ari Love scored 16 points while Maddie Palmer had 15 markers for Pocari Sweat. Myla Pablo played an all-around game with 13 points, 11 digs and 11 excellent receptions for the Lady Warriors.
Pocari Sweat added more woes to the eliminated Fighting Warays as Tacloban suffered its fourth loss in as many games.
Thai import Hyapha Amporn was the only Fighting Waray in double figures with 12 points.
