PVL: Perlas Spikers eye at least a semis seat playoff
BanKo shoots to clinch at least Final Four seat playoff.

Unbeaten BanKo sets its eyes on securing at least a playoff for a Final Four seat in the Premier Volleyball League Season 2 Reinforced Conference at the FilOil Flying V Centre in San Juan.

The Perlas Spikers face a struggling BaliPure-National University at 4:00 p.m. in a match that will air live on ABS-CBN S+A Channel 23, ABS-CBN S+A HD Channel 166 and via livestream.

BanKo steamrolled past its first three assignments including a tough 25-17, 23-25, 28-26, 22-25, 15-12, win over a gutsy Iriga-Navy last Wednesday.

A win by the Perlas Spikers coupled with losses by the defending champion Pocari Sweat-Air Force (3-1) and Petro Gazz (2-1) will give BanKo the no. 3 seed in the best-of-three semifinals to join Creamline and PayMaya.

The Water Defenders look to end a two-game slide and keep its already flickering Final Four hopes alive.

BaliPure, which is coming off a five-set loss to the Lady Warriros last Wednesday, holds a 1-2 slate and another defeat will show the Water Defenders the exit door to join other eliminated teams Iriga-Navy and Tacloban.
