PVL: Champions NU, Perpetual clash in opener
National University and University of Perpetual Help clash in a battle of college champions.

Two titans of college men's volleyball collide on Sunday when action in the PVL Season 2 Collegiate Conference continues at the FilOil Flying V Centre in San Juan.

Reigning UAAP titlist National University face NCAA champion University of Perpetual Help at 10:00 a.m. in a duel that promise a lot of fireworks as the two proud schools meet.

The Bulldogs ruled Season 80 of the UAAP after dethroning Ateneo de Manila University, which is also the conference’s defending champion but skipped this year’s competition, will parade the same solid core led by Fauzi Ismail and Bryan Bagunas.

The Las Pinas-based Altas on the other hand captured the NCAA crown early this year at the expense of Arellano University behind the stellar performance of Joebert Almodiel.

Meanwhile, San Beda University tests the mettle of College of St. Benilce in their 12:00 noon tussle.
