PVL: Lady Tams to tighten grip of the lead
Far Eastern University tests the mettle of debuting San Beda University.

Far Eastern University hopes to play better than their first outing as the Lady Tamaraws take on debuting San Beda University Wednesday in the Premier Volleyball League Season 2 Collegiate Conference at the FilOil Flying V Centre in San Juan.

The match will begin at 2:00 p.m. and will air via livestream.

FEU opened its campaign with a tight 25-19, 32-30, 15-25, 24-26, 15-4, win over College of St. Benilde last Sunday.

Rookie Lycha Ebon was impressive in her debut with 11 points and she is expected to produce the same double-digit scoring for the Lady Tams, who will also bank on veterans Celine Domingo, Jerrili Malabanan and Jeanette Villareal.

Meanwhile, the Lady Red Spikers will get to begin its campaign after taking a bye last Saturday.

San Beda was supposed to play National University in the conference opener but the Lady Red Spikers’ match was cancelled after the reigning champions Lady Bulldogs withdrew from the tournament.
