PVL: San Beda, SSC-R hunt for first win
San Beda University face San Sebastian College in a battle of winless squads.

Winless teams San Beda University and San Sebastian College clash to end their respective droughts Saturday in the Premier Volleyball League Season 2 Collegiate Conference at the FilOil Flying V Centre in San Juan.

The match begins at 2:00 p.m. and will air via livestream.

Both squads are looking for their first victory after suffering setbacks in their first string of assignments.

The Lady Red Spikers dropped their first three games and played in their last two matches without injured skipper Cesca Racraquin. San Beda bowed down to College of St. Benilde last week in four sets.

The Lady Stags are worse.

Fielding a team with only Joyce Sta. Rita returning from last year’s core, the inexperienced wards of head coach Roger Gorayeb got whipped by their first four rivals.

The Lady Stags, overall, won only one set in 13 frames played.
