PVL: Tigers stake unblemished card
University of Sto. Tomas is out to solidify its campaign for a semifinals spot.

Undefeated University of Sto. Tomas gets an acid test Saturday in a showdown with another top contender Adamson University in the Premier Volleyball League Season 2 Collegiate Conference men's division at the FilOil Flying V Centre in San Juan.

Action begins at 9:00 a.m.

The Tigers sport a perfect 4-0 win-loss record at the top spot tied with National University.

The duo of Joshua Umandal and Manuel Medina are playing consistent this conference, leading UST to an incredible winning run including a straight sets victory over College of St. Benilde week.

The Falcons, meanwhile, hope to bounce back from a sorry five-set defeat at the hands of surging Far Eastern University last Wednesday.

Adamson saw its four-game winning streak snapped to slide back at second place.

In other games, University of the Philippines and NCAA champion University of Perpetual Help collide at 11:00 a.m. while CSB and winless Arellano University meet in the nightcap at 6:00 p.m.
