PVL: Lady Falcons eye at least a semis spot playoff
Adamson University will put its spotless record on the line as the Lady Falcons try to inch closer to a semis seat.

Adamson University will try to secure at least a playoff for a Final Four berth Sunday in a showdown with University of the Philippines in the Premier Volleyball League Season 2 Collegiate Conference at the FilOil Flying V Centre in San Juan.

Only three semifinals seats remain after league-leading University of Sto. Tomas booked the first ticket following the Tigresses fifth straight win.

The Lady Falcons are not far behind with 3-0 win-loss slate and another win in its 4:00 p.m. assignment that will air via livestream will push Adamson closer to a return trip in the Final Four.

The Air Padda-metored squad were tested the last time out against Far Eastern University but Adamson showed its maturity by outlasting the UAAP Season 80 runner-up in five sets.

UP parades a 2-1 card after getting back in the win column.

The Lady Maroons crushed San Sebastian College in straight sets last Wednesday to bounce back mightily from a four-set defeat at the hands of UST.
