Medina scored all but one of his points on kills while Tyrone Carodan and Jayvee Sumagaysay finished with 14 and 12 markers, respectively, for the Tigers.
But despite their successful run so far in the conference, UST head coach Odjie Mamon is still looking to see more improvement in his wards.
“Lagi ko lang silang nire-remind sa goal namin, yung mastery. Kasi ang period namin ng preparation sa mastery ng skills at ng system pa lang,” said Mamon, who is using the tournament as preparation for the UAAP.
UST was on target, hitting 45 attacks out of 100 attempts with setter Timothy Tajanlangit tallying 31 excellent sets to orchestrate the Tigers’ offense.
The Red Spikers slid to 2-4 slate tied with De La Salle University.
