PVL: Lady Falcons aim to reserve a semis seat
Adamson University challenges the might of University of Sto. Tomas in the battle of unbeaten teams.

Adamson University shoots for the second Final Four berth as the Lady Falcons challenge streaking University of Sto. Tomas Saturday in a battle of unbeaten teams in the Premier Volleyball League Season 2 Collegiate Conference at the FilOil Flying V Centre in San Juan.

The Lady Falcons get a shot to join the Tigresses in the semis when they march at center court in the 2:00 p.m. duel that will air via livestream.

The match is Adamson's first of back-to-back games this weekend. The Lady Falcons will face San Beda University on Sunday.

Adamson is on a roll, winning its first four games including a four-set victory over University of the Philippines to tail UST, which won five straight.

But it won't be a walk in the park match for the Lady Falcons.

Adamson will have to deal with the power-hitting duo of rookie Eya Laure and Fil-Italian Milena Alessandrini.

Laure is averaging 12.4 points per game with a league-leading 38.17% attacking percentage while Alessandrini norms with 9.6 markers per outing.

Adamson will bank on Eli Soyud, who is averaging 19.75 points per game, Bernadette Flora and Joy Dacoron.
