After its conquest of the Reinforced Conference, Creamline sets its eyes on annexing the Premier Volleyball League Season 2 Open Conference crown.
One could just imagine the potential of a team laden with stars.
Creamline has no shortage of certified volleyball stalwarts and the Cool Smashers are the obvious choice as the team-to-beat when the Premier Volleyball League Season 2 Open Conference rolls on September 22.
Fresh from their Reinforced Conference conquest, Creamline sets its eyes this time in the all-Filipino tournament.
The Cool Smashers easily have the deepest bench in the eight-team field with experienced players and national team members.
Popular standouts Alyssa Valdez, last edition’s Best Setter Jia Morado, Michele Gumabao and libero Mel Gohing banner the Cool Smashers together with Risa Sato and Jema Galanza.
Creamline also beefed up its lineup with new recruit Fille Cainglet-Cayetano.
Valdez, Morado, Gohing, Sato and Galanza are all members of the national team that is set to see action in the AVC Asian Cup.
As part of their preparation for the Open Conference, the Cool Smashers trained in Thailand.
Creamline finished third in last year’s contest.
