PVL: Lady Warriors out to extend win streak
Pocari Sweat seeks to seize its third straight win.

Streaking Pocari Sweat-Air Force squares off with Adamson-Akari on Wednesday with a mission to add the Lady Falcons to its list of victims in the Premier Volleyball League Season 2 Open Conference at the FilOil Flying V Centre in San Juan.

The Lady Warriors eye their third straight win in the 4:00 p.m. match that will air live on LIGA SkyCable Channel 86, LIGA HD SkyCable Channel 183 and via livestream.

Pocari Sweat scored consecutive wins over PetroGazz and Iriga-Navy to tie Tacloban at third to fourth spots with identical 2-1 win-loss slates.

Myla Pablo, who is currently the tournament’s scoring leader with an average of 21 points per game, Jeanette Panaga, May Ann Pantino and Del Palomata will banner the Lady Warriors.

Adamson-Akari, which is playing without injured top opposite hitter Eli Soyud (left meniscus), suffered an opening day setback at the hands of Tacloban last Sunday.

Without Soyud, who is out for six to eight weeks, and middle blocker Joy Dacoron, who suited up for BanKo Perlas, Chiara Permentilla, Bernadette Flora, May Roque and Krich Macaslang must step up to help the Lady Falcons avoid another defeat.
