Pocari Sweat-Air Force meet skidding Tacloban in the first of its back-to-back weekend gig in the PVL Season 2 Open Conference.
Pocari Sweat-Air Force saw its three-game winning run snapped by Creamline the last time out.
Reeling from a stinging five-set defeat, the Lady Warriors march back into battle with their eyes set on a return in the win column against skidding Tacloban in the Premier Volleyball League Season 2 Open Conference at the FilOil Flying V Centre in San Juan.
Game time is at 4:00 p.m. and will air live on LIGA SkyCable Channel 86, LIGA HD SkyCable Channel 183 and via livestream.
Pocari Sweat absorbed a painful 19-25, 17-25, 25-20, 25-16, 14-16, defeat at the hands of the Cool Smashers last Sunday for its second loss in five games.
The Lady Warriors, who are in the first of their back-to-back weekend grind, are currently at solo fifth spot just above Fighting Warays, who are looking to close the first round of elimination on a high note.
Tacloban is on a nosedive after scoring back-to-back wins in its first three outings.
The Fighting Warays are on a three-game losing slump and sport a 2-4 win-loss slate.
Tacloban came a set close to ending its skid but were denied by Ateneo-Motolite, 18-25, 25-19, 25-11, 17-25, 11-15, last Wednesday.
