PVL: Perlas Spikers seek to spark winning run
BanKo faces listless Adamson-Akari in its return to action after a long layoff.

BanKo returns into action after a long break as it eyes its second straight win and a repeat over woeful Adamson-Akari Sunday in the Premier Volleyball League Season 2 Open Conference at the FilOil Flying V Centre in San Juan.

Openings serve is at 4:00 PM and it will air live on on LIGA SkyCable Channel 86, LIGA HD SkyCable Channel 183 and via livestream.

The Perlas Spikers parade a 6-2 win-loss record and are tied for second spot with idle Creamline.

BanKo had 11 days of rest after opening the second round with a 25-22, 25-21, 25-19, win over Iriga-Navy that snapped its two-game slide.

Now back in the same dangerous form they had when they opened the first round with five straight wins, the Perlas Spikers are looking to spark a winning streak against the same team they defeated in their first meeting.

Banko beat the Lady Falcons, 25-20, 19-25, 25-22, 25-16, last month.

Adamson-Akari remains as the only team that has yet to taste victory. The Lady Falcons are down at 0-8.
