PVL: Cool Smashers seek bounce back win
Creamline hopes to bounce back from a five-set setback the last time out in a showdown with Tacloban.

Creamline eyes a return to the win column and move up to a share of the second spot in a showdown against Tacloban in the Premier Volleyball League Season 2 Open Conference at the FilOil Flying V Centre in San Juan on Wednesday.

The Cool Smashers saw their six-game winning streak snapped last week in a stinging five-set loss to Ateneo-Motolite to open the second round.

After a week-long rest, Creamline goes back into action at 6:00 p.m. in a match that will air live on LIGA SkyCable Channel 86, LIGA HD SkyCable Channel 183 and via livestream.

The Cool Smashers are at solo third spot with a 6-2 win-loss slate behind the league-leading Lady Eagles (9-2) and BanKo (7-2).

Alyssa Valdez, Michele Gumabao and Jia Morado will lead the charge for Creamline. Risa Sato is expected to suit up after skipping a couple of games to join National University in the University Games 2018 in Dumaguete.

The Fighting Warays sport a 4-6 slate and coming off back-to-back losses.
