BanKo sets its eyes on securing a Final Four berth in a showdown against Pocari Sweat-Air Force.
After a shocking loss the last time out, BanKo marches back into action hoping to get back on the winning track and secure a spot in the Premier Volleyball League Season 2 Open Conference Final Four.
The Perlas Spikers take on a desperate Pocari Sweat-Air Force side on Wednesday at the FilOil Flying V Centre in San Juan.
Opening serve is at 4:00 p.m. and will air live on LIGA SkyCable Channel 86, LIGA HD SkyCable Channel 183 and via livestream.
BanKo saw its three-game winning streak snapped by PetroGazz in a disappointing 11-25, 23-25, 18-25 defeat just a day after the Perlas Spikers scored a dominating sweep of semis-bound Ateneo-Motolite.
BanKo holds an 8-3 win-loss record in third place behind the Lady Eagles (10-3) and Creamline (8-2) and are already secured of at least a playoff for a semis spot.
But the Perlas Spikers remain wary of the dangerous Lady Warriors, who nipped them in five sets in their first meeting in Baliwag, Bulacan.
Pocari Sweat is in desperate need of wins in their remaining three games to keep its semis hopes alive.
The Lady Warriors are outside of the top four, holding a 5-6 mark, a game and a half away from fourth running PetroGazz.
Pocari Sweat despite the gallant effort put up by Myla Pablo, Jeanette Panaga, Del Palomata and Iari Yongco fell short in their last outing at the hands of the Alyssa Valdez-led Cool Smashers, 25-23, 21-25, 20-25, 25-22, 9-15, in Legazpi City last Saturday.
