PVL: Kung other team talaga papa-buyout ako –- Pablo
May meeting ako with Pocari next week so hindi ko pa alam ang plano namin. Kung Air Force pa rin ba ang makakasama namin for next year, so kung Air Force man masayang masaya kami kasi hindi na mabubuwag ang team namin ngayon -- Myla Pablo

BATANGAS CITY --- Pocari Sweat open hitter Myla Pablo won’t play in her next contract year if team management decides to drop Air Force for the next season of the Premier Volleyball League.

The franchise player will meet with Federated Distributors, Inc. next week to talk about her future with the Lady Warriors, who failed to retain its Reinforced Conference title and bombed out of the Final Four in the Open Conference in their second year.

“May meeting ako with Pocari next week so hindi ko pa alam ang plano namin. Kung Air Force pa rin ba ang makakasama namin for next year, so kung Air Force man masayang masaya kami kasi hindi na mabubuwag ang team namin ngayon,” said Pablo, who scored 16 points in Pocari Sweat’s 25-18, 25-20, 25-23, dismantling of Adamson-Akari on Wednesday.

Pablo together with Elaine Kasilag were holdovers of the successful Pocari Sweat team that swept the Reinforced and Open Conferences of the defunct V-League in 2016 while Jeanette Panaga helped the Lady Warriors win the Reinforced crown and finished second in the Open Conference behind PayMaya in the inaugural staging of the PVL. Air Force came in this year to join the trio.

But if the franchise decides to drop Air Force and form another team, Pablo would rather skip the season or entertain other offers.

“Kumbaga kung other team talaga papa-buyout ako.”

In November 2016, Pablo signed a 5-year lucrative deal that included a car as bonus, with FDI.
