Is Cuban sensation Gyselle Silva suiting up for Motolite?
Newcomer Motolite made a recruitment coup after tapping the services of Cuban sensation Gyselle Silva as its import in the Premier Volleyball League Season 3 Reinforced Conference.
In an episode of The Score, Motolite franchise player Myla Pablo talked about the prospect of playing alongside Silva.
The former Cuban national team member made history last year after scoring 56 points while playing for Smart in the Philippine Superliga Grand Prix.
Silva had 53 attacks and three aces in a five-set loss to Cocolife, landing at fourth spot in women’s volleyball scoring record.
Motolite is also eyeing Bosnian Edina Selimovic as Silva’s tandem. Selimovic played for Pablo’s former team Pocari Sweat but was replaced by American Krystal Rivers late in the PVL’s inaugural import-laden conference after sustaining a hamstring injury.
