PVL: Perlas Spikers, Lady Troopers dispute third win
BanKo shoots for its first-ever back-to-back wins in the PVL Season 3 Reinforced Conference.

BanKo and PacificTown Army clash to end the first round on a high note on Sunday in the Premier Volleyball League Season 3 Reinforced Conference at the FilOil Flying V Centre in San Juan.

The two squads are coming off contrasting results in their last outings and are tied at 2-2- win-loss slates.

Game time is at 2:00 p.m. and will air live on ABS-CBN S+A Channel 23, ABS-CBN S+A HD Channel 166, LIGA SkyCable Channel 86, LIGA HD SkyCable Channel 183, iWant and via livestream.

The Perlas Spikers hope to finally spark a winning run after getting back in the win column last Wednesday at the expense of Motolite, 26-24, 32-30, 26-24.

BanKo, which has yet to win consecutive games in the conference, will pin its hopes on American import Kia Bright, Turkis Yasimin Yildrim and locals Nicole Tiamzon, Kathy Bersola and Dzi Gervacio.

Meanwhile, the Lady Troopers hope to bounce back from a 12-25, 27-29, 15-25, loss on Saturday at the hands for league-leading PetroGazz.

Ukrainian Lena Lymareva-Flink and American import Jenelle Jordan, who finished with 11 points each the last time out, need to see more significant contributions from the locals to help PacificTown Army get back on the winning track.
