Creamline secured at least a playoff for a semis spot.
Creamline secured at least a playoff for a semifinals berth after making quick work of BanKo, 25-12, 25-19, 25-16, on Saturday in the Premier Volleyball League Season 3 Reinforced Conference at the University of San Agustin gym in Iloilo.
The Cool Smashers won their fifth straight win in six outings to open the second round on a high note. Creamline's victory also gave idle unbeaten, league-leading PetroGazz (6-0) the first Final Four ticket.
Thai import Kuttika Kaewpib had 18 points with 15 coming off kills and added eight digs and seven excellent receptions while Venezuelan Ale Blanco got 11 markers off eight attacks and three kill blocks for the Cool Smashers, who won their first out-of-town outing against BanKo after losing their first two meetings last year in Tuguegarao and Cagayan de Oro City.
Alyssa Valdez and Michele Gumabao got nine points each for Creamline.
The Perlas Spikers, who fielded Thai import Sutadta Chuewulim as replacement for American Kia Bright, absorbed their third straight loss for a 2-5 slate.
Chuewulim was the only BanKo player in double digits with 10 points.
