PVL: Lady Troopers eye return to win column
PacificTown Army takes on winless BaliPure.

PacificTown Army look to get back on the winning track when the Lady Troopers face listless Balipure on Wednesday in the Premier Volleyball League Season 3 Reinforced Conference at the FilOil Flying V Centre in San Juan.

Game time is a 3:00 p.m. and will air live on ABS-CBN S+A Channel 23, ABS-CBN S+A HD Channel 166, LIGA SkyCable Channel 86, LIGA HD SkyCable Channel 183, iWant and via livestream.

The Lady Troopers carry a 3-3 win-loss record at third spot behind unbeaten semis-bound PetroGazz (7-0) and defending champion Creamline (5-1).

PacificTown Army suffered a painful 23-25, 25-21, 25-17, 21-25, 13-15, loss at the hands of Motolite last Sunday in Imus, Cavite.

The Lady Troopers will bank on Ukrainian Lena Lymareva-Flink, who scored 25 point the last time out in a losing cause, American Jenelle Jordan and locals Royse Tubino, Jovelyn Gonzaga, setter Alina Bicar and Ging Balse-Pabayo.

Meanwhile, the Water Defenders remain in search for their first win after dropping their first six outings.

BaliPure suffered a 19-25, 22-25, 18-25 defeat at the hands of the Angels last Sunday.

Another loss by the Water Defenders will put them on the brink of missing the cut for the best-of-three semifinals.

PacificTown Army defeated BaliPure in their first meeting.
