PacificTown Army swept past BaliPure to remain on the right track for a semifinals seat.
PacificTown Army waylaid listless BaliPure, 25-21, 25-20, 25-21, on Wednesday to get back on the right track in the Premier Volleyball League Season 3 Reinforced Conference at the FilOil Flying V Centre in San Juan.
Coming off a painful five-set loss to Motolite last Sunday, the Lady Troopers solidified its hold of the third spot with their fourth win in seven games.

“’Yun naman ang importante after a loss kung paano kami magre-recover,” said Lady Troopers coach Kungfu Reyes. “Must-win kasi ‘to para ma-keep namin [ang spot namin] sa standings namin.”
PacificTown Army clawed its way back from 14-18 down in the third frame to tie the frame at 19. Slovenian Alexandra Vajdova put the Water Defenders back up, 20-19, off an attack. The Lady Troopers answered with four straight points for a 23-20 lead capped by an attack by Lymareva-Flink.
Vajdova stopped the bleeding for BaliPure but Jordan scored back-to-back points to seal the one-hour, 21-minute victory.
The Water Defenders absorbed their seventh loss in as many game and are now on the brink of elimination in the race for a Final Four seat.
Montenegrin Danijela Dzakovic had 14 points with all but one coming off attacks with 12 digs and six excellent receptions for BaliPure. Vajdova posted 13 markers while Grazielle Bombita had nine points.
