The Lady Troopers came up short of a championship stint after absorbing a series sweep at the hands of defending champion Creamline.
On the other hand, the Finals ticket continues to elude the Perlas Spikers, who were brushed aside by PetroGazz in two games in the semis on its way to its breakthrough championship appearance.
PacificTown Army defeated BanKo, 25-22, 23-25, 27-29, 25-20, 15-7, in their first meeting before crushing the Perlas Spikers, 25-18, 25-14, 25-20, in their second round eliminations rematch.
Ukrainian Lema Lymareva-Flink, American Jenelle Jordan and veterans Royse Tubino, Jovelyn Gonzaga, Ging Balse-Pabayo and Jem Guttierez will carry the fight for the Lady Troopers against American Stiix Horton, Thai Sutadta Chuewulim, Nicole Tiamzon, Dzi Gervacio, Kathy Bersola and setter Jem Ferrer of the Perlas Spikers.
In case of a tied series and the championship between PetroGazz and Creamline ends in two games, the bronze medal winner will be determined via FIVB tiebreak.
