PVL: Motolite, Angels clash to keep winning streaks going

Winning streaks will be put on the line when red-hot Motolite and PetroGazz cross paths on Sunday in the Premier Volleyball League Season 3 Open Conference at the FilOil Flying V Centre in San Juan City.

Opening serve is at 6:00 p.m. and will air live on ABS-CBN S+A Channel 23, ABS-CBN S+A HD Channel 166, LIGA SkyCable Channel 86, LIGA HD SkyCable Channel 183, iWant and via livestream.

After unbeaten defending champion Creamline, which completed a sweep of the eight-game first round, Motolite currently holds the second longest win run with four straight after a sour start.

Motolite sits at third spot with a 4-1 win-loss record behind Creamline (8-0) and idle BanKo (5-2).

The reigning Reinforced Conference champions Angels, on the other hand, are on a roll themselves with three consecutive victories. PetroGazz is at solo fifth spot with a 4-2 card.

Motolite will bank on power-hitting Myla Pablo, setter Iris Tolenada, Isa Molde and Tots Carlos against the Angels’ Jeanette Panaga, Jonah Sabete, Cherry Nunag, Paneng Mercado and setter Djanel Cheng.
