PacificTown Army sets its sights on winning its second straight in a showdown with BaliPure on Wednesday in the Premier Volleyball League Season 3 Open Conference at the FilOil Flying V Centre in San Juan.

Game time is at 4:00 p.m. and will air live on LIGA SkyCable Channel 86, LIGA HD SkyCable Channel 183, iWant and via livestream.

The Lady Troopers are fresh from an emphatic 25-18, 25-18, 25-13, victory over Chef’s Classics last week to end a three-game slide an even its record to 3-3.

The duo of Jovelyn Gonzaga and Honey Royse Tubino will lead the charge of Army with Luth Malaluan, Jem Gutierrez and Ging Balse-Pabayo providing support.

The Water Defenders sport a 2-5 card at seventh spot and are coming off an 8-25, 19-25, 14-25, defeat at the hands of defending champion Creamline, which completed an eight-game sweep of the first round on Saturday.

Grazielle Bombita, Menchie Tubiera and Satrianni Espiritu will try to power the Water Defenders to end their first round campaign on a high note.
