Philippine Air Force finished their PVL Open Conference run on a winning note.
Philippine Air Force closed its campaign in the Premier Volleyball League Season 3 Open Conference on a winning note as the Lady Jet Spikes beat PacificTown Army, 28-26, 25-20, 26-28, 26-24, on Wednesday at the FilOil Flying V Centre in San Juan.
The Lady Jet Spikers finished the conference with back-to-back victories for an even 8-8 win-loss record.

Gonzaga, Eya Laure and Army coach Kungfu Reyes are set to fly to Japan Wednesday night to join the national team in its training camp.
“Minotivate ko sila na hindi tayo pwede matalo dahil wala ang isang pamato nila dyan na si Jovelyn saka ito yung time na pagkakataon nating bumawi sa kanila dahil tinalo nila kami sa AFP Olympics. Sila ang nag-champion,” said Air Force head coach Jasper Jimenez.
Playing without one of its main hitters and court leader, the Lady Troopers bowed down for the six straight game and finished their campaign with a 6-10 rcord.
Honey Royse Tubino posted 14 points while Nene Bautista and Jem Gutierrez had 12 and 11 markers, respectively, for Army.
