Wushu bet Parantac adds third gold for PHI
The Philippines scored its third gold medal overall courtesy of wushu's Daniel Parantac.

SINGAPORE --- Daniel Parantac chipped in the Philippines' third gold medal overall after his victory in wushu's men's Optional Taijijian Sunday at the Singapore Expo Hall 2 here.

The 24-year-old Parantac impressed the judges for an overall score of 9.71 points to top the 9-man field.

Malaysian Jack Chang Loh took silver (9.69) while Indonesian Julius Yoga Kurniawan finished with a bronze medal (9.68).              

It is Parantac's second medal after a his silver in the men's duel event (weapon's duilian) Saturday with Norlence Catolico and John Chan.
