The new SPLASH Brothers, maybe?
The Philippine contingent has been tearing it up in the 28th Southeast Asian games so far, especially after Wednesday’s nine-gold haul.
A couple of Pinoys however, have also made the viral video rounds, but for all the wrong reasons. Check out the video here:

John Fabriga stepped up onto the diving board, launched himself into the air and twisted and turned gracefully until SPLASH. Fabriga looked like he hit the water a tad bit too early, breaking the surface of the water on his back.
Fabriga had a dejected look on his face after failing to score on his fourth dive. Good thing his teammate, John Pahoyo was there to console him. Pahoyo had a chance to redeem his team, as he was next on deck.
Much like Fabriga, Pahoyo went up, twisted and turned, and then again, landed a bit too early, entering the water on his knees, garnering another pair of zeroes on his final five.
As the Pinoy divers were cooling down, Pahoyo told his teammate just how he was feeling.
“Kinakabahan talaga ako. Hindi ko kinakaya.”
Everyone has their off days, and Fabriga and Pahoyo are surely better than how they fared on this day. Otherwise, they wouldn’t be representing the country in the first place.
Keep your heads up boys! There will be plenty of chances to show just how good you guys are.
