Daniel Parantac gets bronze in Men's Taijiquan at the 2019 Southeast Asian Games Wushu competition

Daniel Parantac secured the second podium finish for the Philippines in the 2019 Southeast Asian Games Wushu competition, taking bronze in the Men's Taijuquan, Sunday morning at the World Trade Center in Manila. 

Parantac, who wasn't able to make the podium in the 2017 SEA Games in Malaysia, finished with a 9.56, just behind Malaysia's Loh Chon How, who scored a 9.68, and Brunei's Hosea Wong Zheng Yu, who finished with a 9.59 score. 

The second Pinoy representative in the competition, Jones Llaberes Inso, came in at fourth, finishing with a 9.54 score. 

Earlier that morning, the Philippines scored their first gold in the Wushu competition with Agatha Wong capturing gold in the Women's Taijiquan
