Filipina Wushu star Agatha Wong made it two-for-two in the 2019 Southeast Asian Games Wushu competition, topping the Women's Taijian event Tuesday morning at the World Trade Center in Manila.
This comes just two days after she claimed her first gold medal of the biennial sports event, dominating in the Women's Taijiquan event, Sunday.
Wong finished with a 9.65 score for her gold-medal clinching routine. It was a step up for the 21-year old, who finished silver in the same event in the 2017 SEA Games in Kuala Lumpur.
Rounding out the podium finishers were Vietnam's Thi Minh Huyen Tran, who finished with a 9.63 to take home silver, while Brunei's Basma Lachkar ended up with bronze after scoring a 9.62.
Wong's second gold makes it four podium finishes for the Philippines in 2019 SEA Games Wushu, with Jones Inso grabbing silver in the Men's Taijijian event, and Daniel Patantac finishing with bronze in the Men's Taijiquan event.
