Philippines earn gold in SEA Games team trap shooting

SUBIC - The Philippines hit the bull's eye in the 2019 Southeast Asian Games team trap shooting event, Tuesday at Ilanin Forest Firing Range here.

The Filipinos rode the shoulders of Olympian Eric Ang as well as Carlos Carag and Hagen Topacio to total 338 points and take home the gold medal.

That placed them ahead of silver medalist Malaysia who had 330 points thanks to Foo Chen, Chee Ong, and Bernard Yeoh.

Rounding out the podium are the Thais who wound up with 321 points courtesy of Yodchai Phachonyut, Savate Sresthaporn, and Kornthawat Takthongkam.
