ONE Championship partners with ABS-CBN

Pinoy MMA fans are set to get even more world-class MMA action with ONE Championship
Pinoy mixed martial arts fans can expect to get even more high-octane action, as ONE Championship, the largest sports media property in Asian history, announced their partnership with ABS-CBN.
In a press conference at the City of Dreams in Manila, ONE Championship CEO Victor Cui made the public announcment regarding the momentous partnership, ahead of their first fight card in Manila this year.
"Today's partnership with ABS-CBN is historic," Cui said at the presser. "This is a huge partnership, not only in the sport of MMA, but also for showcasing Filipino talent."
"ABS-CBN's partnership with ONE Championship goes beyond just broadcasting MMA bouts," said ABS-CBN Integrated Sports head Dino Laurena. "Being a fighter is deeply rooted in our history. Everyday, Filipinos fight for their lifestyles, ans ABS-CBN and ABS-CBN Sports aims to build a nation that espouses the value of a true fighter."
Beginning with the ONE Championship: Global Rivals bout on April 15, ABS-CBN will begin to broadcast live ONE Championship events through ABS-CBN Sports+Action and ABS-CBN Sports+Action HD.
Plus, weekly programs featuring ONE Championship's action will also be seen on free TV several days a week, all year round.
The Global Rivals card on Friday, April 15, will emmanate live from the Mall of Asia Arena, and will feature a ONE Welterweight Title matchup between champion "Funky" Ben Askren and challenger Nikolay Aleksakhin.
The co-main event features one of eight Pinoy warriors on the card, as Team Lakay's Geje "Gravity" Eustaquio takes on Gianni Subba in a bantamweight bout.
ONE Championship: Global Rivals can be seen on Friday, April 15 at 10:30 PM on ABS-CBN Sports+Action 23.
