For young, up-and-coming fighters, it's no doubt a humbling experience to be able to train with some of the country's best, and that's what four of the amateur flyweight fighters from ABS-CBN Sports+Action and URCC's Fight Farm Series got to experience last weekend.
Before flying out to the United States for Pinoy Pride 38, Team ALA Boxing dropped by the ALA Boxing gym in Quezon City and got in some last minute training, as well as took time to show the Fight Farm Series guys a few tips.
Led by ALA Boxing head coaches Edito and Edmund Villamor, the Fight Farm Series flyweights went through some shadowboxing and movement drills, and got to meet some of the best Pinoy boxers in Donnie "Ahas" Nietes, Mark "Magnifico" Magsayo, and "King" Arthur Villanueva.
Check out a behind the scenes look below!
Nietes, Magsayo, and Villanueva will all fight at Pinoy Pride 38: Philippines vs. Mexico on September 24 at the StubHub Center in Carson, California.
Fight Farm Series can be seen every Sunday, 7:00 PM on ABS-CBN Sports+Action 23!
