Ever imagine waking up one morning and opening your front door to see a truckload of new shoes?

Of course you have.

Ever wonder how it must feel? Ask Houston Rockets star James Harden, because that’s pretty much what happened to him in the morning of October 1st.

You see, James’ contract with Nike expired over the summer, and adidas offered the all-star guard a ridiculous amount of money over a number of years.

Nike decided not to match adidas’ offer, and the bearded one signed with adidas, making him a couple of hundred million dollars richer over the course of thirteen years.

And while James was spotted still wearing the competitor’s merchandise even after signing with the three-striped brand, that was because he was still under contract with Nike, and his adi-contract didn’t kick in until October 1st.

Well, October 1st came, and this is what greeted James on the driveway of his Houston home.

The wait is over!!!!… Lets go! @adidashoops #teamadidas

That, dear readers, is what a truckload of shoes looks like.

Sure, being a professional baller, James is used getting loads of gear every so often, but c’mon, that’s a whole container truck full of box-fresh sneakers that would cover his day-to-day needs, on and off the court.

This is, what we would imagine, a sneakerhead Christmas looks like.

James is expected to be the new face of the three-striped brand, along with Derrick Rose, Damian Lillard, and John Wall, all of whom already have their own signature sneakers out on the market.

While James doesn’t have his own sig yet, expect one to come out soon.

Congratulations, James. Better start working on a walk-in shoe closet.
